Tuesday, April 21, 2009 Yeah!! SSCO 万岁!!! First in Siglap history CO got a Bronze award for SYF!! It's a good news and a good start. We are going to get more instruments from other schools which are going to close down their CO.. More instruments, Hooray!! BUT! No matter what, a bad news has to follow on.. Today, we were told by Mr Chiang that he is going to leave us but it is just a matter of time. It's a heart breaking news and it makes me loose abit of confidence that SSCO will become big and strong. I'm afriad the new teacher-in-charge is not as good as Mr Chiang. I'm also afraid that the new little junoirs coming in every year would be rebellious and difficult to handle. Why?! Why?! Why?!.. It's not fair!.. Mdm Poh was a nice and kind teacher which cares for the students alot and she had to leave.. Next came Mr Ang. Although he was not very familiar with CO because he is in band, but he always try his best to help us. Especially in our beats. Less than a year, Mr Ang switched to become a band teacher and Mr Chiang became a full CO teacher-in-charge. He made alot of good changes to CO and even managed to get us more instruments and get us into SYF. At first, I believe many CCAs told lies to their teacher-in-charge and Mr Chiang recieved complaints from these teachers. However, CO members had alot of complaints too but we kept it all to ourselves as we felt that he was really stressed. We took his scoldings and wine behind his back. But actually, we soon learn how to take the easy way. Just complain when other CCAs did things that made us unhappy.. Hah!! Mr Chaing did alot for CO and I really wish he does not have to go. I believe the whole CO wishes for the same thing as well.. We love you Mr Chiang!! Lols.. reca @ 5:55 PM
